One of the technical departments jobs is to secure and organize the corresponding basic needs of the residents and maintain a good and positive picture of the municipal while also supporting sustainable development and a healthy environment.

The technical department plans, builds and maintains parks, recreation areas, playgrounds and the yards of municipals owned buildings and also the traffic- and green spaces. In this line of work also include the treatment of monuments and urban forests.

Maintenance work include: the treatment of the gardens, greenery, structures and equipment while also keeping the green spaces clean.
